How Backward link building works.

Fact: Backward links from relevant web sites that are on topic will help your web site gain popularity in the search engines i.e. Google, Yahoo and Msn.

Fact: There are only four ways that you can improve your search engine positions in the natural listings.

  •  Make sure your web pages are well formed.
  •  Gain as many inbound links from good sources to boost your web sites popularity.
  •  Have lots of good 'on topic' content in your pages.
  •  Join Web Rescue and gain 100's of links from each 'on topic' article that you publish.

    What options do I have?

You can build links in many different ways. One method is to send emails to unsuspecting webmasters asking for a link on their web site in return for a link on your web site. This is known as a reciprocal link, however reciprocal links carry much less link weighting*. It’s also known as sending a spam email to an unknown person who isn’t expecting it. If you send to many requests like this you could get your mail server blacklisted or at worst get your domain banned or switched off by your web site host. Its a very time consuming method, with the least rewards. The days when you could get away with this tactic are all but over.

    * Link weighting: A link which comes from a web site with similar content scores more points with the search engines. For example, a clothing manufacturer web site links outbound to a clothing retailer site. This link scores highly for the clothing retailer web site because the link is coming from a web site that is from the same industry or the same topic, hence the phrase 'on-topic'.

You could employ a link building expert who will then place links for you on hundreds of web sites. This approach can work well but is usually very expensive. Finding a specialist, with a proven track record is almost impossible. If you employ the wrong person all your links will be in worthless directories, off topic and carrying a low PageRank.

You could write into a blog or several blogs or even use automated software to do it for you. Again the major search engines will not look favourably on this type of tactic.

You could release press releases into PR based outlets across the internet. These publishers are respected but charge huge fees to release your article, sometimes running in the 1000’s of $’s or £’s per month. The effect is quite reconcilable, but as your articles loose position you loose traffic and PageRank as the links get further and further away from the home page of the PR web sites involved.

    What make's Web Rescue special?

We are special because we provide the only facility where you can create genuine interest based articles about your products and services. These articles are released across a vast network of web sites that are on topic and relevant to your web site.

When you create an article using the Web Rescue network, you create a valuable piece of reference material relating directly to your web site. Your article contains a specific key phrase that will appear in the article up to three times. This key phrase will link back to your web site on a specific page of your choice.

Once you launch the article it will start to appear on our network sites, over time the article will be crawled by Google, Yahoo and MSN search engine crawlers.

Once Google, Yahoo and MSN have crawled the article, your backlinks will appear in your backward link count.

Because your articles are on topic and appear on web sites that are relevant to your web sites content they will help drive your rankings upwards.

Can I create more than one article?

YES. We recommend you create up to 5 articles each month using different key phrases.

    Is this a link farm?

NO. We are not a links farm. Each and every web site in our network is real and your links only appear on relevant 'on topic' network web sites. You will be able to see your links after about 10 days. You can see your links by visiting any of the major search engines and type link:http://www.yourdomainname.co.uk or .com etc. Press search, and the returned answer is a list of backward links (sites that link inbound to your web site).

Is this type of link building safe?

YES, it is entirely safe. You cannot get penalised in any way by using our network. The Web Rescue article network abides by all of the guidelines set out by all the major search engines. Read the Google guidlines here.

    Why should I trust you?

We have over 10 years experience in Search engine optimisation. We know what works and what doesn't. We wont ask you for access to your web site or force you into any contract of any shape or form.

Will I get a top listing using this method of link building?

We hope so, in some circumstances you may need to wait for a substantial amount of links to be created from your articles. But in all cases we fully expect your web site to move up in the rankings within 12 weeks.

In fact all our customers are seeing healthy gains in rankings well before 12 weeks.

Each article on the Web Rescue article network provides 'on topic' backward links to your web site. This in turn will improve your PageRank and ultimately, your search engine positioning.

    * Backward link building takes time, you need to allow a reasonable amount of time for your link count to build.
